Good luck with the 10 Cane cocktails tonight. I know I’m biased, but I think the rum is fantastic, and you’ve chosen great drinks in which to showcase it. Here’s my favorite recipe for a classic daiquiri:
2 oz. 10 Cane Rum
1 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz. Simple syrup
garnish: lime wheel
Combine all ingredients with cubed ice in a mixing glass. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with a freshly sliced lime wheel.

congratulations on being this blogs first approved spam!
good call posting the recipe, you never know when some hack like me is going to fuck up a cocktail and blame it on the spirit. i played around with the proportions a little and found that, with the 10 cane rum, i personally preferred 2/0.75/0.75.
i like the product, and will get more today (maybe a lot), but only because it’s on sale; i’m too cheap/indiscriminate to pay $35. i’d just as soon go with $15 appleton gold and/or a cachaca like leblon or sagitaba.
